We balance innovation with reliability and security in our solutions by employing a rigorous testing and validation process for all new technologies before deployment. We prioritize the use of stable, well-supported platforms and frameworks to ensure reliability. For security, we adhere to the highest industry standards, incorporating encryption, secure coding practices, and regular security audits into our development process. This approach ensures that our innovative solutions are both robust and secure, maintaining integrity and trust in every project.
To ensure data security, we (and our vendors and partners) carry out measures such as comprehensive data encryption, access control and authentication, threat detection and prevention, data backup and disaster recovery, plus continuous monitoring and improvement.
We prioritize data privacy and confidentiality by implementing strict access controls and data obfuscation/anonymization techniques (i.e., data masking, tokenization, encryption, PII redaction, and/or data randomization/swapping/scrambling), where necessary. For development and testing purposes, we also have the ability to generate synthetic data versus utilizing real datasets.
Our services are fully compliant with industry-specific regulations such as GDPR for European clients and HIPAA for healthcare-related data in the United States. We continuously monitor and update our practices to align with legal requirements and best practices to ensure data protection and privacy.
We utilize advanced encryption methods to protect your data both at rest and in transit. For data at rest, we employ AES-256 encryption, and for data in transit, we use EV SSL (Extended Validation Secure Socket Layer) protocols to secure the exchange of information across networks, ensuring that your data remains confidential and tamper-proof at all times.
In the event of a data breach, we have a comprehensive incident response plan that includes immediate investigation, containment, and remediation. We notify all affected parties in accordance with legal requirements and provide detailed information on the extent of the breach and the steps taken to secure the data. Our goal is to minimize any disruption and to maintain transparency throughout the process.
DataExos utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS) through its vendors and partners to host your data. Our secure online client document portal is spread across multiple availability zones, each an isolated, cutting-edge data center designed for high availability, ensuring optimal uptime. The setup adheres to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS), providing a solid security framework in this environment. The servers that host the secure online client document portal are based in the U.S. Under GDPR regulations, the transfer of personal information of EU residents outside the EU is strictly managed in accordance with Chapter V (Articles 44-50) of GDPR. As outlined by the European Commission, the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework is recognized as providing adequate protection for data transfers to the U.S., and our portal provider is certified under this framework. Should this arrangement not meet your requirements, we offer the option to switch to an alternative provider with servers located within the EU (note that additional costs may apply). We may or may not be able to assist with specific data residency, localization, and sovereignty requirements in the APAC region and other international contexts. As in the EU, these requirements are complex, and we would need to assess each unique situation to determine if there is a suitable solution and how best we can provide support.

We do not offer nonprofit or educational discounts for organizations with over $450,000 collectively in annual revenue streams.
If you don’t utilize the entire block of hours you’ve purchased within the billing period, you will still be charged the full agreed-upon amount. Any hours not used within this timeframe will expire once the billing cycle concludes.
